TERMS & CONDITIONS

1) QUOTES

Our quote is based on the information You provide us, in terms of kitchen drawings, dimensions or any sizes verbally discussed in person, email or on the phone and are subject to the following terms & conditions, which shall be deemed to be incorporated in the quotation or order for the supply of goods. Any changes to the sizes provided to us during quotation are found different from the actual sizes measured during Templating, shall be subject to a revision in the Quote to reflect for extra material and labour needed to fulfil the requirements of Your worktop.

2.1 Quartzmatik can Supply and Install most leading brands for example Silestone, Compaq, Caesertone etc fully fabricated and fitted. However, there may be some occasions where we may not be able to supply or fabricate certain brands of Worktops for you, in which case, we may still be delighted in preparing estimates for you, followed by organising an Approved Fabricator for the fulfilment of your Worktop, closest to your Area.
2.2 Once the Fabricator has been assigned to fulfil the requirements of your worktop, You would be bound contractually, directly with the assigned Fabricator. Quartzmatik shall not be a part of any such contractual binding, between You and the Assigned Fabricator.

In order to progress towards Templating, the Customer shall have the relevant Sink and the Hob on-site ready for the Technicians to account for the respective cut-outs. Once Booked, the date for Templating and Fitting cannot be amended, unless the same is requested outside of the 24 hours timeframe from the booked time, to carry out any such aforementioned respective services. Any Amendments made into the 24 Hours of the booked time, shall be charged @ 200+VAT for having services rebooked.

By filling the Details Form on ‘PROCEED TO INSTRUCTIONS’ Page of Quartzmatik Website, You agree that your details (as below) would be shared with the Suppliers for a) Posting Free SAMPLES in the post to be able to reach You in 2-3 Business days & b) with the Assigned Fabricator (if any) so that they can raise Invoices, arrange Templates and carry out the Installation of your worktop, successfully. The Details(below) to be shared with the Stone Suppliers/ Assigned Fabricators are as follows:

a) Full Name/ Business Name;
b) Supply Address;
c) Billing Address if different to Supply Address;
d) Email Address;
e) Telephone Number;
f) Stone preferred (Name) with Thickness.

5) PAYMENT TERMS:

5.1 Upon Instruction:

Following the Invoice from the assigned fabricator, in order to buy the material (slabs) 50% deposit is required upfront paid directly to the assigned Fabricator, with funds cleared atleast 24 hours before the agreed date of templating.

5.2 Upon Fabrication:

The balance or remainder payment of 50% MUST be made 24 hours PRIOR to the proposed date of installation. Once the funds transferred by the You have been cleared, You shall then be advised of the exact date of Installation and an approximate time frame with a 4 hour window.

6) TEMPLATING:

6.1 During Templating:

Preferably Yourself/ owner or a trusted appointed representative by the owner i.e. a Builder MUST be present during the process of templating to agree all relevant details such as widths and lengths of the worktops, overhang, joints, height of up-stands & splash backs, required cut out and edge shapes.

6.2 After Templating:

It is strongly encouraged not to make any changes to the Worktop/ Style/ Colour/ Sizes of the Worktop/ Technical design specifications of the worktop (example sinks/ taps/ hobs/ drainer groves etc.)

6.3 Changes After Templating:

Once the Template has been taken for You by the assigned Fabricator, any changes made by the Customer to the Material, Colour, Style, Sink, Hob or changes to any Sizes of the worktop, shall be discussed directly with the assigned Fabricator, rather than QuartzMatik. Quartzmatik shall not be liable in taking any such instructions from You/ any Customer (past the point of the stage of Templating) as this would create confusion between the teams who template and the teams who work on the machine fabricating the worktops for you.

7) INSTALLATION:

7.1 Once the Worktop has been installed, You agree to having checked Your newly installed worktop thoroughly and if any concerns are to be raised, to be raised to the fitters, before leave your premises. If concerns are raised after the Fitters have left, then there will be a Call-out charge of £200+VAT for any such subsequent re-visits.

7.2 Once the sink has been installed, it is highly recommended that any Plumbing or Drainage connections to be reconnected only after 24 Hours, after the adhesive is fully cured. This helps the sink to adhere firmly to the underside of the worktop over the 24 hours curing duration.

7.3 In order to allow the adhesive under the worktop or any such sealants or adhesives in conjunction with the worktop and upstands/ waterfalls/ downstands/ windowsills/ high wall splashbacks to cure completely, any use of the Worktop or the Splashback shall be strictly restricted for the next 24 Hours, upon installation.

8) CARE AND MAINTENANCE:

It shall be the responsibility of the Customer to liaise directly with the Supplier of the relevant Brand/ Supplier’s Website to acquire the Care and Maintenance pack directly from them, for your Worktop. However in general for all Quartz and Granite Worktops, it is strictly advised to NEVER use any strong cleaning products/ bleach as the use of these products may decrease the life of the surface polish of your worktop.

9) WARANTY:

You agree to registering your Worktop for Warranty directly with the Supplier within 30 Days from the Date of Installation. If for any reason, the worktop is not Registered within 30 days directly with the Supplier, then the same shall be the liability of the Customer incase the Warranty was to forfeited by the Supplier in an event of delay been caused by the Customer in confirming Registrations, past the 30 Days timeframe.

10) CUSTOMER SERVICES/ AFTER-SALES:

For any After-Sales or After-Care Concerns in relation to your worktop (Material, Fabrication and Installation), You agree to contact the Assigned Fabricator directly (using Details on the Invoice) as they would be Your ONLY point of Contact for all aspects of Customer Services – starting from point after Templating through to Installation.
